Should I clear a blocked drain myself?
Colton Drainage do not recommend any DIY drain clearance methods for a number of reasons including sewer borne diseases, potential for damage to the drain by using rods with the wrong fittings and often by making the problem worse by compacting the blockage with a plunger.
Does a bad drainage smell mean blockage?
It's a fact Drains smell, but the immediate issue is how the smells are getting into the property. Call one of the Colton Drainage engineers to investigate the problem. P art of the process of resolving the smells will be to check your drains to see if this is the cause.
How can I pay for my appointment or call out?
We accept all methods of payment whether it is a direct bank transfer from any major card provider, PayPal, cash or a cheque.
Will you walk dirt through my property?
Definitely not. Our engineers carry protective foot covers which they wear over their safety footwear. We will also use dust sheets if we need to carry any dirty equipment into your home.
